I have a show opening on May 21st at Peer Gallery in Lunenburg, NS (Such a beautiful spot - a UNESCO World Heritage Site!!!) I am sharing the space with abstract painter, Lisa Wright, and we can't wait to set the show up ... it's going to be amazing!!!

Don't forget Handmade Markets this weekend at the National Convention Centre. I am ONLY doing Saturday. Surely there is someone on your Christmas list that would just love a sanded pot, a pair of knitted earrings, or a funky basket made from recycled plastic strapping!!!

Me finally learning how to plait at weekend with Jackie Abrams at ANU School of Art....it did feel a bit strange as I had gone to high school in the same building...this was much more fun!!! Jackie was a great teacher...very patient with all of us as we struggled managing all those strips of paper...bit like playing with an octopus.
